Are you feeling overwhelmed with the amount of reading you are required to do for your course? Our Learning Skills Advisor Dr Aidan Windle will deliver a sixty-minute workshop on Friday 27th August from 9.30 am to provide you with tips and strategies to make your life easier.

The workshop will cover:

*Myths about speed reading and advice for a more realistic approach.

*How people read differently, e.g. word by word or by scanning ahead, and how we, therefore, need to select strategies that work for us.

*Different active reading tips for when reading for knowledge/mastery or reading for an assignment.
